Who is this "Traveling Teacher?"
Welcome to my new and improved website/blog! I am attempting to move into the next generation of blogging and needed to be able to be even more teacher-dorky in my posts. Who am I? Right now, I am a middle school science teacher at an international school in Germany. I love being a teacher, I love to travel, and I am proud to be a TEACHER GEEK! I started blogging in 2008 to chronicle and process a 5-week journey through India to study their national science & math curriculums and instructional practices and basically never stopped. The adventure continued in 2010 when I decided to sell my house and car in Fort Collins, Colorado and move to Chesham,England to teach in a Comprehensive School. After a disastrous semester where I cried daily, I moved on from England to spend some time in northern France perfecting my language skills and basically acting as a housewife on a petite manoir. After nine months of bank-account-busting unemployment, I began my next adventure- teaching in Germany. The adventure continues...
